August 29, 2025, Iqaluit, NU – Baffin Fisheries announces the retirement of CEO Chris Flanagan, effective today, and appointment of CFO Glenn Grandy as Interim CEO. The Baffin Fisheries Board of Directors will soon begin a search for a permanent, Nunavut CEO, with preference given to Inuit candidates.

Mr. Flanagan will continue to work as a consultant to the Company to help with the transition, and to continue to mentor new employees.

Baffin Fisheries (BFC) is the leading commercial fishing enterprise in Northern Canada, harvesting more than 10,000 tons of Greenland halibut (turbot) and cold-water shrimp annually. Baffin Fisheries’ subsidiary Baffin Seafood ApS markets its products around the world.
