MV Inuksuk II
Harvesting Arctic Shrimp & Greenland Halibut (Turbot)
Baffin Fisheries is pleased to have taken delivery of its new 80-metre fishing trawler, the Inuksuk II, built at the Tersan Shipyard in Turkey. The state-of-the-art stern trawler becomes the largest Canadian owned fishing vessel, and will begin operations in the Eastern Arctic during 2025, harvesting shrimp and Greenland halibut (Turbot) for its Inuit owners.

Vessel Capacity
A total capacity of 1,300mt of turbot or 900mt of shrimp.

Space onboard for 38 crew members.

It is registered in Iqaluit, Nunavut.
