Qualifications Work Experience Percentage of work
Inuktitut - English interpretation and translation Minimum one year providing administrative support to group or individual. 25%
Administrative skills Experience preparing and updating documents and databases, and writing reports 25%
Outreach skills Fishing industry experience, or experience dealing with customers or employees in an administrative manner 25%
Organization Skills Experience maintaining a document organization system 15%
Proficiency in computer programs, i.e. Microsoft Office, Outlook, excel or other related programs Previous work with office computer software required 10%
Bookkeeping skills Experience with Microsoft Excel an asset
High school graduate
Proven reliability Reference checks required
    Areas of Responsibility (Key Deliverables /Accountabilities)
  1. Help plan and keep records of all record Board meetings and other requirements
  2. Manage filing of Board documents, and production of Board and Company documents for Board members and HTAs
  3. Ensure delivery and proper filing of all Board documents to each owner community
  4. Manage board travel, per diems, honoraria, travel expenses, and board training.
  5. Ensure provision of interpreter/translator services at all meetings, and for all Board documents and correspondence
  6. Support crewing requirements
  7. Provide administrative support to Baffin Fisheries economic development projects
  8. Other duties as required from time to time
