Baffin Fisheries is Hiring a Second Engineer

Baffin Fisheries, the largest fishing enterprise in Northern Canada, has an immediate opening for an experienced 2nd  Engineer for its factory-freezer multi-species trawlers based in Bay Roberts, NL. Leadership in safety, sustainability and performance are highly valued and highly rewarded.

Applicants must have:

TC Engine Room Rating 4th Class, TC MEDs, Seafarer Medical, STCW Endorsements, Passport, Commitment to HSE.

Required: Experience & knowledge of offshore otter trawling/freezing; shrimp & turbot; deep-sea fishing winch systems, ships engines, generators, propulsion, hydraulics, trawl operation, electrical, fish processing line, refrigeration, welding, regular and scheduled seasonal maintenance, etc. experience with Ship Safety Program.
